Description
Lucky Star Oxygen Forest Playground is a 220sqm indoor family entertainment center located in Jiangxi, China. Designed around an immersive forest exploration concept, the project combines a visually distinctive color palette with a 6-level steel play structure to maximize vertical space, increase play capacity, and create a memorable family destination for children aged 2–12.
The project was delivered as a complete turnkey solution, including concept planning, custom design, manufacturing, installation, and after-sales support.
Client Profile:
The client aimed to develop an indoor playground capable of attracting consistent family traffic while maximizing operational value within a relatively compact commercial footprint. The project needed to stand out visually, accommodate different age groups, and deliver enough play variety to encourage repeat visits.
Core Requirements:
Beyond aesthetics, the client prioritized operational practicality:
- High play capacity without overcrowding
- Smooth circulation flow
- Safe exploration experience for younger children
- Efficient use of vertical space
The ultimate goal was to create a highly recognizable family entertainment destination that could drive foot traffic, increase dwell time, and strengthen the commercial appeal of the venue.
CHALLENGES
1.Maintaining Smooth Traffic Flow in a Compact Space:With multiple attractions integrated into only 220sqm, circulation planning became critical. The playground needed to support high visitor density while preventing congestion and dead zones.
2. Serving a Wide Age Range:Children aged 2–12 have significantly different play behaviors and safety requirements.
3. Maximizing Commercial Efficiency
OUR SOLUTION
1. Strategic Vertical Space Planning
To maximize the available footprint, we developed a 6-level steel structure play system that significantly expanded playable capacity without increasing floor area.
2. Functional Zoning Strategy
The playground was divided into multiple interconnected play zones:
- Toddler Exploration Area
- Central Ball Pool Zone
- Role Play Area
- Sensory Play Zone
- Adventure Maze System
3. Equipment Mix Strategy
Rather than relying on one signature attraction, the project uses a layered play strategy combining:
- Physical exploration
- Sensory engagement
- Social interaction
- Imaginative role play
- Climbing and sliding experiences
This diversified mix helps maintain long-term replay value and broadens appeal across different age groups.
4. Safety & Compliance
- Fully compliant with ASTM / EN / CE standards
- Export-grade materials and engineering
- Structured installation and inspection protocols
